CRICOS and ELICOS Registration

Before they can offer training to overseas students, Australian training providers must first be registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students.

The National Code establishes 11 standards to guarantee the protection and delivery of courses by CRICOS providers to overseas students. The 2018 National Code will take effect in late 2019.

English Language Intensive Courses For Overseas Students (ELICOS), need renewal.

In order to deliver ELICOS courses, you must also be registered on CRICOS. However, if you only plan on offering these types of courses, no RTO certification is necessary.
